HI EVERYONE,
It’s my pleasure to introduce myself. I’m Sivasangkary
and people do address me as Siva. I’m currently pursuing my Bachelor in
Education (Hons) at Unitar International University located in Kelana Jaya. I was born and raised in Damansara, Petaling
Jaya. Currently I’m 19 years old and born in October 14, 1997.
Telling about my family back ground my father
is a corporate manager. My mother is homemaker. I have two elder brothers. My hobbies
are drawing, painting, reading books (motivational books such as chicken soup
for teenage soul, a curious mind and etc.) and listening to music.
My achievements are, I was a dean list student
during my foundation studies. I was a former Vice President for Tamil society
back in secondary school. I self-taught myself Kolam (form of drawing that is
drawn by using rice flour) and bridal as I have passion in learning arts.
My greatest strength are I’m a fast learner
and hardworking. My greatest weaknesses are
my love for food, but I’m trying to overcome that. My favourite food will be Chinese
food such as Hokien Mee and Wan Tan Mee.
I'm also a huge fan of Indian food such as tosai, roti canai, vadai,
muruku and definitely banana leaf food.

Life without goals like a race
without a finish line. Everyone has their own goals for make their dreams come
true to them. Just like me, I also have my own goal in my life as a successful and
inspirational teacher. My short term goal is to complete my degree in
first class honor and my long term goal is to become a successful teacher and inspire
students to be a successful leader for the country.
In today’s constantly changing
world, I need to learn problem solving skills to become successful teacher in
society. As a future teacher yearn to learn. I need to be very organized and
creative. Time is very valuable. By using creativity, it helps me in learning
process. I love to be nature and curious explorers. I always inspired to think
critically.
My
philosophy in life would be “Dream big and dare to fail”. People don’t realize,
failure is our first teacher. What we
don’t do right at first, we do ever better the second time. Without facing
failure, we don’t ever figure out what works and what doesn’t. never be afraid
to dream big, no matter how ridiculous the dream may seem to you or others
around you. Dreams are something that should hold close to heart and never
afraid to express. Dreams are like plants, have to feed them and water them in
order to grow. Without water, it will shrived and eventually die. So, hope is
the water. The more water the plant, the prettier the flower, the better the
end result. All we need is faith to fulfill our dreams. Dreaming is one of the
sweetest thing ever, we always dream about thing we love and hope. As a
educator we also do not give up easily but we must help our students, so that
they have the basic knowledge, strong learning experience as well as formation
of the personality.
My
teaching philosophy in the field of education is to master the course that I
learned so that I can teach and help the students acquire knowledge base for
their future. Therefore, I also need to build a good relationship with
students. All curricula should be presented not only in a visual and linguistic
manner, but also kinesthetically, musically and intra or interpersonally as
regularly as the situation allows. It can have a better chance successfully
turning each child into a motivated learner.
In conclusion, I believe that to be
an educator dedicated and successful, I need to make teaching as my
hobby. This is because when the matter has been made as hobby, of course
we will love and do well. I hope that one day I can become a teacher who liked
and loved by students. Last but not least, never give up on something you
really want. It is difficult to wait, but more difficult to regret.
